Emorra respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how Emorra Group Pty Ltd (ABN 71 697 440 967), trading as Emorra (Emorra, we, us or our), collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information when you visit emorra.com.au, create or use an Emorra account, purchase or return products, contact us, subscribe to marketing communications, enter a promotion, or otherwise interact with Emorra.
We aim to handle personal information consistently with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply. Effective date: 21 July 2026.
2. Personal information we collect
Depending on how you interact with Emorra, we may collect the following kinds of personal information:
- Identity and contact details, including your name, email address, telephone number, billing address and delivery address.
- Account information, including your account identifier, login and authentication information, saved preferences and account activity.
- Purchase information, including orders, returns, refunds, transaction details, product preferences and loyalty activity.
- Payment-related information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Emorra does not store customers' complete payment-card details.
- Communications with our customer service team, including enquiries, complaints and support requests.

- Technical and usage information, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring pages, cart activity and interaction with our website or communications.

We generally collect personal information directly from you when you register an account, place an order, complete a checkout or contact form, subscribe to email or SMS marketing, contact us through email, phone, social media or live chat, submit a review, or participate in a promotion or survey.
We may also collect information automatically through our website, or receive it from service providers such as payment processors, delivery companies, fulfilment providers, fraud-prevention services, analytics providers and advertising platforms.

Emorra uses a custom-built website and customer-account system. Passwords are securely hashed and cannot be viewed by Emorra staff in readable form. You may request a password reset through the website.
6. Marketing communications
We may send promotional emails or SMS messages where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email, following the instructions in an SMS, or contacting us.
Unsubscribing from marketing will not stop necessary service communications about orders, deliveries, refunds, security or your account. We will process unsubscribe requests within the period required by applicable law.
8. Who we disclose personal information to
We may disclose personal information to organisations that help us operate Emorra, including:
- Website hosting, ecommerce and account-authentication providers.
- Stripe, our payment processor, together with relevant banks, card networks and fraud-prevention providers.
- Australia Post and any other courier or delivery company used to fulfil an order. Emorra currently packs and manages orders directly.
- Email, SMS, customer-service, review and loyalty platforms.
- Analytics, advertising and marketing providers.
- IT, cybersecurity, data-storage and professional service providers.
- Accountants, insurers, legal advisers and other professional advisers.
- Government authorities, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where required or authorised by law.
- A buyer, investor or adviser involved in a proposed sale, merger, restructure or transfer of all or part of our business.
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.
9. Overseas handling of personal information
Some technology and payment providers may store or access personal information outside Australia. Stripe states that, as a global business, it may transfer personal information to countries including the United States and India.
The locations used by website-hosting or other technology providers may change or may not always be practicable for Emorra to specify. You may contact us for current information about likely overseas disclosures.
Where Australian privacy law applies, we take reasonable steps in the circumstances to ensure overseas disclosures are handled consistently with applicable privacy requirements.
10. Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical and physical steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. Measures may include encrypted connections, restricted access, authentication controls, monitoring, backups and the use of reputable service providers.
No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. If you believe your account or information has been compromised, contact us promptly using the details in section 17.
11. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining transaction and taxation records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and meeting legal obligations.
When personal information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it, unless retention is required or authorised by law.

You may request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Some information may be updated directly through your Emorra account.
Other requests can be sent to emorragroup@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request. If we cannot provide access or make a requested correction, we will explain the reason where required by law.

If you believe Emorra has mishandled your personal information, contact us using the details in section 17 and provide enough information for us to investigate.
We will acknowledge and investigate your complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints.
14. Data breaches
If a data breach occurs, we will investigate and take appropriate steps to contain the incident and reduce potential harm. Where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme applies, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner when legally required.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. Emorra is not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information.
16. Children
Emorra's website and products are not directed specifically at children under 16. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate authority, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
